SHERIDAN, Seán Snr. (Greenville Road, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) October 23rd, 2020, aged 88 years – Unexpectedly but peacefully at St. Vincent’s Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband of the late Philomena, and wonderful father of Collette, Mary, Patrick and Eileen and the late Seán; father-in-law to Dermot, Luke, Louise and Phil. He will be desperately missed by his loving family, grandchildren, extended family, nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. He lived an active and curious life to the last of his days and leaves behind the example of always putting others first. Due to government restrictions a private funeral will take place. DUFFERIN - Lindy, The Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava of Clandeboye, Co Down and London. October 26, 2020, peacefully after a short illness but a fantastically full life, she was a friend to so many and loved by all whose path she crossed. Due to the current restrictions and in accordance with her wishes there will be a private funeral at her beloved Clandeboye but again in line with her wishes there will follow at a later date memorials in celebration of her life in both Northern Ireland and London.

JOHNSTON - Mignone (Tycusker, Arva, Co. Cavan) - peacefully October 25, 2020 surrounded by her devoted family.

Loving wife and mother. Mignone will be so dearly missed by her husband Wilson, children Gordon, Helen, Robert, Brian, Mignone, Karl, Laura and Wilson, sons and daughters in law Philip, John, Anthony, Brian, Alison, Caroline and 10 adoring grandchildren. Sister to Basil and Joy, and predeceased by Fay, Maude, Violet, Robert and Joan. Funeral Service took place at Arva Church of Ireland at 2.00pm on Tuesday, October 27, followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining graveyard. House private, please.

OâREILLY, (Ashgrove, Avenue Road, Dundalk and formerly of Wexford and Kilkenny) - Passed away, unexpectedly, at home, comforted by two of his daughters, on 24th October 2020. Cormac was the beloved husband of Pauline (née Daly), father to Cormac, Finbar, Maire, Aisling, Peadar and Aine and brother to Colm and Anne. Cormac will be sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brother, sister, beloved grandchildren and extended family. Cormac was predeceased by his brothers Peadar and Padraig. May he rest in peace. Wicklow and formerly of Galway) - October 25, 2020, peacefully, at home, surrounded by her family, dearly loved sister of Deirdre, Marie, Dymphna, Bernie, Tony and the late Jarlath, sadly missed by her brother-in-law Phil, nieces, nephews, her carers, in particular Amber and Vero, extended family, neighbours, friends and ex-colleagues at Ulster Bank. O'GALLAGHER, Evelyn née Ward (Templeogue, Dublin 6W and formerly of Rush, Co Dublin) - 23rd October 2020 (suddenly) in Tallaght University Hospital. Dearly missed by Malachi, her husband of 63 years, her children Tom, Catriona, Donal, Marie, Ray and Conor, her sister Emer, brother Monsignor Conor, sister-in-law Madge and brother-in-law Dermot. Much loved Grandma to Paul, Hayleigh, Aoife, Steve, Aoibhin, Conal, Jack, Rionach, Scott, Laoise, Sorcha (RIP), Tiarnan, Angus, Sigrid, Hugo, Ben and Lana and Great-Grandma to Madison, Kennedy, Conor, and Isabel. Also missed by her son-in-law Paul, daughters-in-law Anne, Inesa, Sara, and Susan; granddaughter-in-law Cerri; grandson-in-law Ryan; and her nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends in both Dublin and Stoney Island, Co Galway. O'ROURKE, Fr. Kevin (Columban Mission to Korea) native of Cavan - October 23rd 2020, Professor Emeritus, Kyung Hee University, Seoul, Scholar and Poet, predeceased by his parents Francis and Teresa O’Rourke (Market Square, Cavan) and by his brothers Frank and Joe; fondly remembered by his brother Charlie, his sisters-in-law Marie and Anne, by his many nieces and nephews in USA, New Zealand, the Netherlands, the UK and Ireland, by his grandnieces and nephews and his great-grandnephew, his Columban family in Korea and Dalgan Park and by his many friends, colleagues, and students.
