GLENDON, Monica (Tivoli Terrace, Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin) - July 2, 2021. Peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff at the Ashford Nursing Home, Dun Laoghaire. Dearly beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine. Loving Aunt to Bernadette, Tom, Philomena, Gerard, Colum, Therese, John, Suzanne, Louise, Anne, Julie and Caroline. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives and friends. Due to current government restrictions, a family funeral will take place privately. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at 11am in St. Michael’s Church, Dun Laoghaire. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the maximum number that can attend the Mass is 50 people. CAHILL, Michael (Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, late of Thurles, Co. Tipperary) July 1, 2021 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of all the staff of the Glengara Park Nursing Home, surrounded by his family. Dearly beloved husband of Connie, loving father of Méadhbh, Aoife, Cormac and the late baby Ailbhe. Peacefully, with immense courage and bravery, surrounded by his close family in the wonderful care and attention of the staff at the Cedar Ward, St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Dearly beloved husband and best friend to Philippa and loving Dad to Darragh. MATHER, – Robin (Booterstown, Dublin), July 1, 2021, much loved husband of Susan (née Kraus) and father of their precious late son Simon. Robin will be very dearly missed by Sue and Poppy, by his closest relatives John and Pennie, Ninian and Jane Falkiner, sisters-in-law Marion, Anne-Marie and Marie, brothers-in-law Peter, Desmond and Brian Kraus and Noel Buckley, together with his niece, nephews, cousins and his extended group of great friends. NEARY, J. Peter (Oxford and Dublin) MA (NUI) PhD (Oxon) D EconSc honoris causa (NUI) MRIA FBA MAE. Emeritus Professor of Economics and Fellow of Merton College, University of Oxford, and formerly Professor of Economics University College Dublin. On June 16, 2021 Peter died peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband of his heartbroken wife, Mairéad Hanrahan, devoted father of Philip and David Neary and Róisín and Eoin Hanrahan, and delighted grandfather of Clara. He will be held in loving memory by his mother Anne Neary, his brothers John and Paul Neary and his sister Sheila Talini, the extended Neary and Hanrahan families, and his colleagues and friends in Ireland, the UK and throughout the world. Eldest child of Hannah and Paul, Ballinagare, Lixnaw, Co Kerry. Deeply regretted by her sisters, Margaret O’Sullivan, (Rochester, Minnesota), Agnes Andrews, (Listowel), brother-in-law Michael, nieces, nephews of the O’Sullivan and Andrews families, relatives, her community of Marian House, and formerly of Holy Faith Community, Skerries, all her Holy Faith Sisters, former colleagues and friends.
