Beloved husband of Olive (née Cobbe), loving father of Dayle and Neale and brother of Ann (Gee). He will be sadly missed by family and friends. DINGLE, (Dalkey, Co. Dublin, late of Glasnevin, Dublin 11) - July 23rd 2024 (peacefully) in the wonderful care of all the staff of the Belmont Nursing Home, with his family at his side in his 99th year, Norman (Valentine), beloved husband of Margaret, loving father of Billy, John and Claire. Sadly missed by his wife, children and their partners Jackie and Darren, his adored grandchildren Oisìn, Jessie, Meadhbh and Lochlann, his extended family, former colleagues and friends. GALVIN, (née Power) Mary Thérèse (Claremont Rd, Sandymount) - July 23, in her 90th year, at Mt Hybla Nursing Home, Castleknock. Predeceased by her brothers John and Joe. Adored wife of the late Dr Hugh Joseph Galvin (2015), very much loved mother of Joseph, Mary, David and Peter and mother-in-law of Orla, Joe and Brigid. Proud Nana of Aisling, Oisin, Ciarán, Alana and Cara; Lucy, Emer, Hugo and Rowan and Zoe, David and Harry and great-grandmother of baby Éile. She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews, sisters-in-law Pansy Power and Gertie Galvin, cousins and a wide circle of friends and neighbours. Funeral Mass in the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Sandymount today (Friday July 26) at 10am, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only, please. WINDLE, Veronica (nee Murphy) Foxrock, Co. Dublin (formerly of Goatstown) - 23rd July 2024 surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the staff of St. Agnes ward, St. Vincent’s Hospital. Veronica, dearly beloved wife and best friend of Kevin, adored Mum of Paula, Sinéad, Kevin, Helen and Valerie, her adoring grandchildren, extended family, relatives and friends. Beloved uncle of Fiona, Sheera and Cahir, honorary grandfather of Síofra, Mark, Shona, Sinéad and Dónal. Sadly missed by his sisters-in-law Philo and Statia, his brother-in-law Ronán and his wife Una, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. KENNEDY, William (Wilk) (Rathfarnham, Dublin) - 23rd July 2024, passed away peacefully in the gentle care of the staff at Connolly Hospital. Previously resided in Glenashling Nursing Home, Celbridge. Wilk was a teacher of mime at Betty Ann Norton Theatre School. He was also an actor, artist, and poet. Predeceased by his father William Kennedy (The Mall, Waterford), mother Alice Hughes (Killoe, Longford), brother Ciarán and sister Catherine. Will be sadly missed by his brothers Michael & Fr Bernard (Enniskerry), sisters Marie and Deirdre and brother-in-law Michael. May he Rest in Peace. Removal on Friday 26th July 2024 to the Church of the Annunciation, Rathfarnham, arriving for 10 am Mass, followed by a cremation service in the Garden Chapel Mount Jerome Crematorium Harold’s Cross. MILNE, Ann (Curam Care Nursing Home, Navan Road and late of Manor Place, Stoneybatter, Dublin 7) - Passed away peacefully on 22nd July 2024 in the wonderful care of the staff at Curam Care Nursing Home. She will be sadly missed by her friends and neighbours. Reposing at Bourke’s Funeral Home, 71 Queen Street, Dublin 7 from 5pm to 6pm today (Thursday). Ann’s Funeral Mass will take place tomorrow morning (Friday) at 10am in The Church of the Holy Family, Aughrim Street, followed by a cremation service at Mount Jerome Crematorium at 11.30am.
