TIERNEY, John Aloysius, Rathdrum, Co. Wicklow - December 24, 2013 (peacefully) in hospital. Beloved husband of the late Vera (née Sweeney). Predeceased by his sister Florrie and his brothers Larry, Tommy and Noel. Loving father of Michael, Patricia, Jacinta and John, grandfather of Ruth, Elizabeth, Andrew, Anna and Peter. He will be sadly missed by Linda, Ian, Stefan and good friend Betty, his sister Lucy, brothers Gus and Gerry, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Rest in peace. Reposing at McCrea's Funeral Home, Wicklow town today, Friday from 4pm, followed by removal at 6.15pm to St. Mary and Michael's Church Rathdrum arriving at 7pm. Funeral tomorrow, Saturday after 11am Mass to Rathdrum Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Tates Charity.
