CALLAGHAN, William (Bill) Lt. Gen. Retd., Templeogue - December 26, 2015. Peacefully at home, following a short illness bravely borne as was his way. Beloved husband of the late Carmel and much loved Dad of Marie, Patricia (Connellan), Carmel (Empey) Bill, Claire (O'Leary) Declan and Fiona. Father-in-law of Brenda, Hilary, Aidan and the late John. Sadly missed by his children, their spouses, his grandchildren, Deirdre, Rory, Lynn, Gayle, Conor, Emer, Orla, Niamh, Kym and Jack , great-grandchildren Jake, Maya, Tom, Cameron and Parker, sister-in-law, Madeline Keane, brother-in-law Billy Lane, nieces, nephews, relatives, army colleagues and friends. Rest in Peace. Reposing at Massey Bros. Funeral Home, Templeogue Village tomorrow, Tuesday from 2.00pm to 4.30pm followed by removal to St. Pius X Church arriving at 5.30pm. Funeral Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday December 30 followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery . Family flowers only. Donations if desired to Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
