COSGROVE Stan (Barrow House, Monasterevin, Co. Kildare) Peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family, passed away on August 29, 2019 joining his beloved Maureen, days shy of his ninety-second birthday. Greatly missed and forever loved by his ten children, Mary, James, Catherine, Veronica, Michael, Paul, Nicola, Emma, Johnny and Sara, his daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and partners; his twenty-two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Reposing at home in Barrow House, Monasterevin. House open today (Saturday) from 4.00pm to 8.00pm and tomorrow (Sunday) from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. Rosary on Sunday at 5.00pm. House otherwise strictly private. Funeral Mass at 11.00am on Monday (September 2) in St. Peter and Paul's Church, Monasterevin followed by burial in St. Evin's Cemetery, Monasterevin. Family flowers only.

Peter Timoney, Lexington, Kentucky. Stan's passing is a great loss to the equine veterinary profession. He stood tall amongst his colleagues for his integrity, professional​ism and willingness to help anyone in need. May he rest in peace.
