SHANAGHER, Sheila, 20th April 2024 - Died in Culmore Manor Nursing Home, Derry (formerly of Pennyburn, Derry and Seapoint, Co. Dublin). Had also been a member of the Loreto Order, predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Florence, Mary Dolores, Gerard, Therese, Denis and Anthony. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews, their extended families, cousins and great friends. Viewing at Bradley & McLaughlin’s Funeral Home, 31 William Street, Derry on (Thursday) 25th April from 4:00pm to 5:30pm. Removal leaving there at 5:30pm to St. Patrick’s Church, Pennyburn to repose overnight with Requiem Mass on Friday at 10:00am, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium at 3:00pm. Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on her soul. Our Lady of Lourdes intercede for her.

Very sorry to hear of Shelia's passing. I only met her two or three times but she was a larger than life character and made a big impression. My wife once asked her why she left the Loreto Order? She replied, 'because they left the door open'.
