I worked with John in Hackney between 2000 and 2006. We also made music together and I lent him a harpsichord. I am sad to hear he has died and offer my condolences to his family. David Sloan

A good man

John's work with and for people with alcohol problems changed many a life. He was a giving, and good, person who worked hard for others. A great loss to London as well as to family, friends and colleagues.
