DALLAGHAN, John Robert. May 26, 2016. (Hong Kong and Thailand, formerly USA) - Peacefully, following a short illness borne with outstanding courage. Cherished wonderful son of Gerard and Anne Carmel Dallaghan, Killiney, Co. Dublin. Dearly loved brother of Paul and Clare, cool Uncle to Sean and Dylan. John was lovingly cared for by all of us during his final weeks. He will be desperately missed by his family, relatives and a host of amazing friends worldwide, and the kind gentle staff of Samahita, Thailand. Sorrow has touched us, has broken our hearts, but John's brilliance and unique wit will shine on forever along with so many happy memories. Farewell service and cremation have taken place. John is now home with Padre Pio. Donations, if desired, to the Irish Cancer Society.Bonsoir John John.

Cela faisait longtemps que je n'avais pas de tes nouvelles. Et voilà que je viens d'apprendre 8 ans après que tu nous a quitté. Cher John que c'est triste de savoir que tu n'es plus sur terre. Bon voyage. Tu as été quelqu'un de génial.

John was a great friend when we were at Uni in Belfast. He was blessed with great wit and humour. Above all he inspired me to aim high in life and believe in myself. So hard to believe he is no longer with us. RIP my friend. Noel Clerkin
