SWEENEY, Philip, November 29, 2017, (late of Co. Mayo and formerly of Ongar Stud and Furbo, Co. Galway). Peacefully in the wonderful care of the staff at Beaumont Hospital; beloved husband of Gertrude. Predeceased by his daughter Jackie. Loving father of Adrian, Declan, Phyl, Sinead, Paul, John, Ciaran, Dermot, Lorraine and Philip. Forever loved and sadly missed by his wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, his twenty-nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, his twin brother Stephen, sister Kathleen, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Suaimhneas síoraí dá anam uasal. May he rest in peace. Reposing at his son Paul’s residence on Friday from 4.00pm until 8.00pm.
