CAHIR, Rev. Fr. Tony, (Woodlands Park, Birr, Co. Offaly and formerly Ennis, Co. Clare), July 9, 2015 - (peacefully) in the company of family, at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin. Loved and dearly missed by his beloved brothers, Jerry, Liam and TJ; their wives, Maureen, Angela and Carmel, his nephews and nieces, grandnephews and grandnieces, all family relations, parishioners and his many many friends, near and far, together with his brother Priests of the Diocese of Killaloe, R.I.P. Reposing in St. Brendan's Church, Birr today (Saturday) from 4.00pm to 9.00pm. Concelebrated Mass at 3.00pm tomorrow (Sunday), followed by burial in Church Grounds. No flowers please. Donations in lieu to The Society of St. Vincent de Paul. "In Iotholann Dé go gcastar sinn"

When Fr. Tony was Curate in Nenagh, Co. Tipperary (1985-1994), I was an altar server for him. Liam Gleeson Jnr. (Nenagh).

Really sorry to hear of Fr Tony's death. He was a wonderful priest, community builder and friend. May he rest in peace. MaryRose Crowe MSHR
