O'BRIEN, John, April 15th 2021 Templeogue, D6W, (late of Churchtown and Bray) peacefully in his 95th year after a short illness in the dedicated care of the staff of Tallaght Hospital. Predeceased by his beloved wife of 60 years Ethna (née Ryan) and his sister Joan Hayes (Bray). A caring dad to his children Deirdre, Aidan, Cathy, Jimmy and Niall, doting granda to Sarah, James, Nigel, Rhona, Ciaran, Liam, Hazel, Ronan, Jake and Zac, great-granda to Ezra, Niamh, Nuala, Cillian, Frieda, Marlow, Edie and Oscar. John will be forever loved and sadly missed by his family, sons-in-law Gerrit and Andy, daughters-in-law, Ger, Hilda and Deborah, sisters -in-law Eileen and Irene, nephews Paul, Fran, Michael and Kevin, extended family, neighbours and friends, especially the FCA, fellow golfers, his poker school and ESB colleagues. May he Rest in Peace. Due to current restrictions, a private funeral will take place for family at St. Jude The Apostle Church, Templeogue on Tuesday April 27th at 11am.
