SHANLEY,, Frank August 15, 2020, (Malahide), (Peacefully), in the wonderful care of the team in Talbot Nursing Home; beloved husband of the late Pauline and brother of the late Máirín and Finbar; very sadly missed by his family, son Paul, daughter Fiona, son-in-law Jimmy, daughter-in-law Grace, grandchildren Cillian, Johnpaul and Lúc, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A private funeral will take place for immediate family and friends, due to Government advice and HSE guidelines regarding public gatherings. Those who would have liked to attend the funeral, but due to current restrictions cannot or feel unable to do so, please free to send on condolences by traditional manner. Family flowers only please. SHANLEY - Frank (First Anniversary) - The Family of the late Frank Shanley, Malahide, Co. Dublin who passed away on August 15, 2020 wish to express our most sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the very sad loss of our beloved Dad, Grandad, father-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a wonderful friend to so many. To those who sent cards, messages, posted condolences on rip.ie or made donations to St. Francis Hospice we thank you. We also gratefully acknowledge the many messages of condolences from those who could not be present due to Covid 19 restrictions particularly absent family members and our wonderful friends. We wish to thank most sincerely all those who gathered outside the Church. We especially thank Fr. Peter Finnerty for celebrating the beautiful Funeral Mass and to Mary in the Bethany Bereavement Group Malahide for her invaluable help. Our most heartfelt gratitude to all the wonderful staff of Talbot Lodge Nursing Home who cared for Dad with the upmost of kindness and compassion. Our thanks to Staffords Funeral Directors for their compassionate professional support. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass has been offered for your intentions.
