SWEENEY, Margaret, (née Mitchell), (Orwell Stud, Rahealty, Thurles) who in her 94th year slipped peacefully away on Wednesday October 7, 2015. Predeceased by her husband Phil and two sons Edmond and Philip; very deeply regretted by her daughters Marguerite (Barrett), Pam Sweeney and Cecily (Purcell), sons-in-law John Purcell and Frank Barrett, grandchildren Michelle, Louise, Frank, Jack, Isobel, Rebecca, Rachel and Roz, great-grandchild Aoibheann, sisters Reneé Haslam and Pam Reid, nieces, nephews, cousins, nieces-in-law, nephews-in-law, her wonderfully wide circle of friends and kind neighbours. R.I.P. She will be reposing at Orwell Stud today (Thursday) October 8 and will arrive at The Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles tomorrow (Friday) October 9 at 12.45 p.m. for Requiem Mass at 1.30 p.m. with burial afterwards in St. Patrick's Cemetery."The Lord is my Shepherd"
