CLARKE - Dr. John J. (Stillorgan, Co. Dublin and formerly Killcully, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan). As we approach the first anniversary of John’s passing on October 17, his daughter Lisa, son Paul and partner Valerie, brothers Seamus and Tony, sisters Marie (Dardis) and Kathleen (Reilly), son-in-law Fergus, daughter in law Stella, grandchildren Benoit, Ailish, Katie and Ciara, together with his extended family would like to sincerely thank all those who contacted us in so many ways and would like to have been with us during that very sad time. To his many friends, UCD colleagues, relations and neighbours for their kind words and sympathy on his sudden passing. To those who visited the funeral home, sent cards and flowers and to all those who left online messages of condolence, many sharing their memories of John, we are most grateful. Our thanks to Fr. Paddy O’Byrne for his prayers, guidance & beautiful funeral Mass and to those who joined via webcam. Special thanks to Dr. Paddy Feeney and the team at Lower Kilmacud Road surgery for their care over the years and to the staff of The Beacon Hosptial. In gratitude the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. John’s First Anniversary Mass will be held on Sunday, October 17 at 11:30am in The Church of St. Laurence O’Toole, Stillorgan.

He bade no one a last farewell, He said goodbye to none; The heavenly gates were opened wide, A loving voice said, “Come”.
