SHANKS, (née Matthews) Mary (Killiney, Co. Dublin, formerly Blackrock and Rathmichael, Co Dublin) October 27, 2022. Peacefully, in the care of all the staff at the Mary Aikenhead Suite at St. Vincent’s University Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband Brian. Deeply regretted by her children Georgie, Moira, Brendan, Oliver, Jay and Brian. Sadly missed by her sister Susan, sisters-in-law Jacqueline and Maeve, son-in-law Cormac, daughters-in-law Alex and Diana, grandchildren Christina, Suzy, Lauryn, Seán, Josh, Sophie, Laura and Anna, extended family and friends. Reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) from 5.00pm to 7.00pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, Monkstown, A94 XK28. Funeral Mass at 11.00am on Wednesday, November 2, in the Church of the Assumption, Booterstown Avenue followed by burial in Shanganagh Cemetery.
