O'KELLY - Breda (Donnybrook and Clontarf) October 31 2022. As we remember our beloved Breda on her first anniversary, her sisters and brothers, Maria, Fionnuala, Brian, Niamh, Noreen, and Mícheál, along with their families, wish to thank most sincerely all those who supported Breda and us during her illness, and who sympathised with us at the time of her death. We would like to express our gratitude to all the wonderful professionals who looked after Breda, with a special thanks to her oncologist Dr Osama Salib, GP Dr Laura MacKenzie, pharmacist Patrick Byrne, and the staff in St Francis Hospice, for their care and kindness. Thanks also to Msgr Ciarán O’Carroll and the pastoral care team in Donnybrook parish for their visits which gave Breda much solace. To her friends, neighbours, and former colleagues who visited Breda regularly, and provided such practical support, we are forever grateful. Many thanks also to everyone who attended the funeral home and funeral Mass. We were very touched by the obvious affection and esteem in which she was held by her former colleagues and many friends. We would like to thank Fr Larry Kelly, who, along with Fr Séamus Kelly, celebrated such a personal funeral Mass. Thanks also to all those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and letters, left messages of condolence, and made donations to St Francis Hospice in her memory. While we are trying to acknowledge everyone personally, as Breda would have wished, we hope this acknowledgement will serve as an expression of our heartfelt gratitude. Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
