It is with great sadness that we announce the death of (John) Oliver Murray of Belfast (formerly Dublin) on 23rd April 2026. Peacefully, in Belfast City Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Devoted husband of Catherine, loving father of Eva, Jane, Aengus and John, cherished grandfather of Anna, Charlie, Fionn, Ted, Daniel, Maggie, Conn, Elsie, Emilia and Flora, dear brother of Kieran, Dympna, Aidan and the late Tommy.

Very sadly missed by his loving wife, daughters, sons, grandchildren, sons-in law and daughter-in-law, sister, brothers, extended family and friends.

A Service of Celebration of Olivers life will be held at The Avenue Arts Centre, 1 Derryvolgie Avenue, Belfast BT9 6FL on Friday 1st May at 10 a.m, followed by burial in Roselawn Cemetery 129-131 Ballygowan Road, Belfast BT5 7TZ.
