On Andy's First Anniversary, his wife Celine, daughter Margaret, sons John Andrew and Paul, brother Paddy, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren and extended family wish to extend our sincere thanks to our neighbours, relatives and many friends who sympathised and supported us at the time of Andy's passing. Thank you to all those who called to our house, travelled long distances, sent Mass cards, messages of condolence, letters, phone calls and text messages from home and abroad. Many thanks to all those who attended Andy's funeral Mass in the Holy Spirit Church in Ballyroan and burial in Kilmashogue Cemetry, where he was reunited with his beloved son David. Special thanks to Fr. Joe Ryan, who celebrated his funeral Mass, for his lovely homily and comforting words. We appreciate all the medical care which Andy received during his long life. In particular the care which he received during his hospital admissions to Tallaght, St James', the Mater and St. Vincent's Private Hospitals. In addition, we are very thankful to all the people who helped Andy at home. We really appreciate the compassionate care which he received from the staff in Our Lady's Hospice in Harold's Cross, which enabled him to die with dignity and in peace. We would also like to thank Fanagan's Funeral Directors who organised the funeral arrangements in such a professional and dignified way. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our deep appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions. Andy's First Anniversary Mass will be offered tomorrow, (Sunday) at 12.00 noon in the Church of the Annunciation in Rathfarnham.
