MURPHY (Coolock, Dublin 5, and formerly of Old Youghal Road, Cork) - May 26, 2012, peacefully, in Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Edward T. (Ed) will be sadly missed by his devoted wife Peg, sons Brendan and Bernard, grandchildren, family and friends. Predeceased by his eldest son, John. A Memorial mass will be celebrated at St Brendan's Church, Coolock, on Saturday (June 2) at 11am. His body has been donated to medical research. "May he Rest in Peace"

<p>Terrific Man</p> <p>End of an era. Mr. Murphy was a gentleman. A wonderful man. I well remember his very kind words to me at the time of my own father's (Dan Houlahan) death in 1991. Called him "God's Gentleman". There are now two of them.</p> <p>My sympathies</p> <p>b</p>
