CAREY, Denis John (Seán) late of Rialto, retired from An Post - Died 17th December, 2023, in Ashford House Nursing home with his daughter Patricia by his side. Predeceased 2003 by his beloved wife Margaret (Peggy). Forever loved by his devoted daughter, her wife Lynda and his son Eoin. His death will not shatter the unbreakable bond of love and faithfulness with his brothers Micheal and Eddie and his adored sister Maureen. His sister-in-law Ann (deceased), Peggy and his brother-in-law Donnchadh (his GAA brother in arms), brother-in-law Michael Downes and sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces and nephews and his Godsons Conor and Brendan. Heartfelt thanks to Ashford House for their exceptional care and love over the last 20 months. His wonderful neighbours and friends in Reuben Avenue and church community for such great care and friendship especially during covid. Thanks also to his An Post colleagues especially Jimmy, who all helped celebrate Seán's 90th birthday in April. He was a good kind man, we will not see his like again. Reposing at his daughter’s home, Blackrock (Wednesday) 20th December 5pm-8pm Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Dolours Church, Dolphins Barn on Thursday 21st December at 11am, followed by burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Duleek, Co. Meath No flowers, please, donations if desired to Blackrock (Our Lady’s) Hospice C/O Tina Connell fundraising @ 01-2064000 Ar dheis dé go raibh a anam.
