O'BRIEN (Monica) (née Sheils) (Thomond, Strandhill Road, Sligo, formerly Gowna, Co. Cavan) - October 23, 2016. Peacefully after a short illness at Letterkenny University Hospital, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late John, sadly missed by her loving daughters, Mary, Eileen, sons John and Paul, son-in-law Jim Leonard, daughters-in-law Connie and Kathy, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. R.I.P. Removal today (Tuesday) at 12.00 noon from her daughter Mary's home, Clachan Mor, Letterkenny, going to her late home, at Thomond, Strandhill Road, Sligo to repose. Removal from there tomorrow (Wednesday) evening to Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Sligo to arrive at 7.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Thursday, October 27. Burial afterwards in St. Patricks Cemetery, Scarden, Strandhill Road. Family flowers only please.
