CAFFERKEY, Una (née McGuinness) (Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Crossmolina, Co. Mayo). June 7, 2023 Peacefully in the care of Care Choice Nursing Home, Trim, Co. Meath surrounded by her loving family. Sadly missed by her sister-in-law Teresa (Tici) McGuinness, her niece Stephanie Faughnan (Née McGuinness), and all her beloved nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews of the McGuinness and Cafferkey families, together with her dear friends in Bray. Predeceased by her parents John and Bridget McGuinness, devoted husband Gerry Cafferkey (formerly of Keenagh, Mayo), sisters Mary McGuinness, Bridie Walls (Salthill), Anne Brennan (Roscommon), Kathleen O'Donovan (Ennis), and her brothers young William, Gerry (USA) and Sean McGuinness (Crossmolina). Reposing at the home of her late brother Sean McGuinness, Lecarrow, Crossmolina from 7.00pm to 9.00pm today (Friday). Requiem Mass in St. Tiernans Church, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo tomorrow (Saturday) at 11.00am, with burial afterwards in Crossmolina Cemetery. Una's funeral mass can be viewed on www.churchtv.ie/crossmolina. May she Rest in Peace.
