BUTLER, Kitty (Hayes), Croke Street, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, wife of the late David and late of Rathcoole, Fethard - August 15, 2012, surrounded by her family. Sadly missed by her children Maeve (Wilson), Katherine, John and David, son-in-law Paschal, daughters-in-law, Noelle and Mary, grandchildren Claire, David, Julie and Eva, brothers Pat, Mattie, Gerry, Willie, Joe and Denis, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, her dear friend Claire and a wide circle of relatives and friends. R.I.P. Reposing at the family home from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. tomorrow (Friday). Arrival at the Cathedral of the Assumption, Thurles at 10.15 a.m. on Saturday. Burial following 11 a.m. Mass in St Patrick's Cemetery, Thurles.

<p>Dear Kitty,</p> <p>I recall one day on your visit to Sydney, with Joe and Mossie Hayes. You wanted to see and touch the Irish Monument in Waverley Cemetery. Early one morning, you climbed over the tall 'piked' fence and sat next to the memorial stone to Michael O'Dwyer. You were so proud of your heritage and deserve a plague on this magnificent monument. When you returned to Thurles, you sent me 'Father John Murphy, Vinegar Hill story.'</p> <p>Rest in peace, Kitty, from Colleen and Maureen Malone, Randwick, Sydney.</p>
