COOKE, John D. (retired Judge of the European Court, Luxembourg and of the High Court), (Churchtown, Dublin 14) - April 29, 2022, peacefully, at St. Vincent’s Private Hospital. Beloved husband of Sally and much-loved father of Catherine and David. Predeceased by his sister Eleanor. He will be sadly missed by his family, his sister Frances and his brother Richard, son-in-law Eamonn, daughter-in-law Irene, grandchildren Eva, Leon, Sarah, Louis, and Lily-Jo, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rest in Peace Reposing today (Monday) afternoon in Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm. Removal tomorrow (Tuesday) morning to the Church of the Holy Cross, Dundrum arriving at 10.20 am for Funeral Mass at 10.30 am followed by a private family only cremation. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross.
