MURPHY - Gerard. Military Hill, on the January 13, 2022, peacefully at Cork University Hospital. Gerard, much loved husband of Geraldine (née Gavigan) and devoted father of Brendan, Conor, Fintan, Karen, Niall and the late Liza. Deeply missed and fondly remembered by his family, brothers, sisters, in-laws, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchild, extended family, circle of friends and neighbours. May Gerard Rest in Peace. Lying in repose in Keohane’s Funeral Home, Knights Hill, Old Youghal Road, on January 16 (Sunday) from 3:00pm with prayers at 4:00pm, for family and close friends. Reception into Holy Family, Military Hill for Requiem Mass at 11:00am on January 17 (Monday), followed by funeral to St Finbarr’s Cemetery. In keeping with current government advice anyone attending should adhere to social distancing at all times.
