BYRNE, John Felix, (Cabinteely, Dublin 18) - Born in New York, December 22, 1934, died August 31, 2018. On the First Anniversary of his death, John's family wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to friends and neighbours, extended family both in Ireland and in the US, John's past colleagues from The ESB and ESB International and his fellow Charlesland Legends. The support, friendship, and the many expressions of sympathy we received, have been an immense source of comfort to us. We are sincerely grateful to John's sister Sheila, brothers Jimmy and Billy, sister-in-law Kathleen, nieces Ann Marie and Allison, and nephew Owen, who travelled from the USA. We were so fortunate to have them with us. We would like to thank Professor Gallagher and his team at the Blackrock Clinic, the Palliative Care Team, the Blackrock Hospice and the HSE Primary Care Nurses, for their exceptional skills, care, and attention. Special thanks to Fr. Aquinas Duffy of St. Brigid's Parish, Cabinteely, who enabled us to celebrate John's life in such a joyful way. As it is not possible for us to contact everyone individually, The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions. John is always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. "Go placidly amid the noise
and the haste and remember what
peace there may be in silence
in the noisy confusion of life,
keep peace in your soul...
it is still a beautiful world.
Be cheerful.
Strive to be happy",
