GRIFFIN Luke (Loughloon, Westport, Co. Mayo, and formerly of Rathkeale, Co. Limerick and Dublin) - Luke is remembered with love and affection every day and especially on the First Anniversary of his death, September 26, 2011. Luke's wife Maureen, his sisters, Sr. Ursula Griffin and Mary Garvey and his brother John, together with extended family wish to express their heartfelt thanks to all those who attended the removal, funeral Mass and burial. Thanks also to those who sent messages of sympathy, letters and Mass cards which were very much appreciated. Sincere thanks to Pierre Lagedamon and Yann Crepes from Limoges, France as well as to Westport Town Council and Tidy Town's Committee for the floral tribute to Luke in the Octagon, Westport. We are very grateful to all those who helped to make Luke's funeral a true celebration of his life. Special thanks to Fr. Michael O'Connor OMI, to the priests of the parish and to the priests who concelebrated Luke's funeral Mass. Míle buíochas to our friend, An tAth. Micheál MacGréil, who visited Luke regularly. To those who cared for Luke during his illness we extend our sincere appreciation. As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
