RAPPLE, Colm (Malahide, Co. Dublin) died January 29, 2015 - Colm's wife Nuala, his children Simone and Rory, daughter-in-law Ann-Marie, and brothers Éamonn and Brendan would like to thank all those who supported us by attending the removal, the funeral Mass or Colm's burial. In particular we would like to express our gratitude to Uachtarán na hÉireann, fellow journalists, those who travelled long distances to be with us, as well as those who have sent Mass cards, e-mails, letters or telephoned with expressions of sympathy during this difficult time. A very special thank you to Frs Deighan, Nevin and Richardson for celebrating the Mass and officiating at the funeral and to Ite O'Donovan and the Lassus Scholars for their choral accompaniment. We would also like to thank Kirwans Undertakers for all their help. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this Acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions. Thank you Colm, you combined great intellect, quick wit and high accomplishment with selfless dedication to helping us and others. Our grief as a family at losing a treasured husband, father and friend remains immense. Ní bheidh a leithéid arís ann.
