ROONEY, Maureen (Mary) (Blackrock, Co. Dublin) - December 15th 2023. Peacefully at Ailesbury Nursing Home, Sandymount. Beloved daughter of the late Patrick and Agatha Rooney and loving sister of Terry (Turlough) and the late Pauline (Glynn), Helen (Sr Patrick Joseph) and Anna. She will be very sadly missed by her nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning, December 21st, at 10am at the Church of St. John the Baptist, Blackrock, followed by cremation at Mount Jerome Crematorium. For those unable to attend, the Mass may be viewed live at https://sjb.ie/our-parish/webcam/ and the cremation at https://www.mountjerome.ie/victorian-chapel-service/ Family flowers only, please. Messages of condolence for her family may be left in the condolences at www.rip.ie. “May she rest in peace”
