BUTTIMER-BROBERG Anne, Emeritus Prof. of Geography, UCD, (Blackrock, Dublin, and Glenville, Co. Cork) July 15, 2017. Daughter of the late Jerome and Eileen Buttimer. Deeply regretted by her sisters, Sr. Mary Dermot O.P. (USA), and Carmel Buttimer-Grant; brother Andreas; spouses, nieces, nephews, grandniece, grandnephews and extended family; friends, colleagues and fond neighbours in Dublin/Cork/Sweden and elsewhere abroad. Reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) at Fanagans Funeral Home, Dundrum prior to removal to the Church of Our Lady, Seat of Wisdom at Belfield, UCD arriving for 3.30 pm Requiem Mass. Removal on Wednesday (July 19) to the Church of the Immaculate Conception Watergrasshill, Co. Cork arriving at 5.30 pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday (July 20) at 2.30 pm followed by burial at Ardnageehy Cemetery.

Her sisters Mary and Carmel, brother, Andreas, spouses, nieces, nephews, and extended family, wish to sincerely thank all those who sympathised with us in our recent bereavement. Our grateful thanks to all who attended the removal to UCD church; and Watergrasshill church and burial in Co. Cork; to all who sent Mass cards, letters and other messages of sympathy. A special thanks to the doctors, nurses and carers who attended to Anne; the concelebrants at both requiem Masses, and the undertakers. We thank her former colleagues in the field of geography, both at home (in particular UCC and UCD) and worldwide. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
