HALLIGAN, Aidan Professor (Late of Templeville Drive, Terenure and Leicestershire, England) (died April 27, 2015), beloved son of Maureen and the late Michael, loving husband of Carol and dearly loved father of Molly, Rebecca and Daisy - Aidan's mother Maureen, brothers Peter and Karl and sisters Ursula, Maurita and Noirin wish to thank all those who were so kind, helpful and thoughtful to them on the sudden death of a wonderful son and brother. We are so grateful to our relatives, friends and wonderful neighbors for all their kindness, support and friendship; to those who sent perpetual Mass cards, Mass cards, messages of sympathy, those who visited our home, phoned, and attended the funeral Mass in Mount St. Bernard Abbey, Leicestershire and the Month's Mind Mass in St. Pius X Church, Templeogue. Special thanks to all those who travelled long distances to attend the formal ceremonies; some coming from all over Ireland and others from the United States, Australia and Canada. Aidan's mother Maureen will be forever grateful to her three wonderful brothers: Joseph, Donal and Benedict and their families for their selfless thoughtfulness and loyalty: Thanks too to those former classmates of Aidan from Templeogue College who made a huge effort to attend the funeral in England. We are also particularly grateful for the kindness and assistance provided by Very Rev. Fr. Aquinas Duffy (Parish Priest St. Pius X Church, Templeogue); for the encouraging words and up-lifting homily from Fr. Ronnie Grimshaw CSSP who officiated at the Month's Mind Mass and for the comforting presence of Fr. Michael Guckian OMI. A special word of thanks to Eamon McGuinness for delivering a beautiful eulogy at Aidan's Month's Mind Mass; to Aoife O'Donnell Principal of Templeogue College for her kindness and concern; to Bernard and Marie McCarthy for their generous friendship and to Paul and Ursula Murray, Paddy and Mary Heneghan for their thoughtful neighbourliness. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass has been offered for your intentions.
