HOPKINS - (Richmond, Glanmire, Cork/Ballyhahill, Limerick): On Monday, September 8th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family, MARY, passed away unexpectedly following a short illness. Beloved wife of Dave, dearest twin sister of Norma, adored mum of Mark and Judy, cherished grandmother of Jack and Anna and loving mother-in-law to Eorann.
Mary will be deeply missed by her sisters Anne, Elaine and Bridget, her brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, and her many dear friends near and far. Mary will be fondly remembered for her boundless generosity, compassion and vibrance and will be sorely missed by all who knew her. Reposing at Barry Bros. Funeral Home, Hazelwood, Glanmire on today Thursday (September 11th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm. Requiem Mass at 11.00am on tomorrow Friday (September 12th) in St. Josephs Church, Springhill, Glanmire, Cork. Funeral afterwards to St. Josephs Cemetery, Little Island. Family flowers only, please.
Donations, if desired, can be made in lieu to S.H.A.R.E. and RNLI Baltimore.
