MURPHY, (née Farrington) Theresa (Mount Merrion, Co. Dublin and formerly of Ballymore Eustace, Co. Kildare) December 21, 2022. Unexpectedly but peacefully at home. Beloved wife of the late Con, loving mother of Brendan, Aedeen, Deirdre and the late Conn and sister of the late Tom, Fr. Ambrose, John and Michael. She will be very sadly missed by her loving children, sister-in-law Maeve, son-in-law Martin, grandsons Rory and Ciarán and their partners Ciara and Pauline, nephews, nieces, extended family, wonderful neighbours, carers and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at Rom Massey & Sons Funeral Home, Cranford Centre, Stillorgan Road, D04 X446 (opposite UCD Flyover) on Thursday evening, December 29, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Funeral Mass on Friday morning, December 30, at 10 am at the Church of St. Thérèse, Mount Merrion, followed by burial at Shanganagh Cemetery. (Died December 21, 2022) – On the occasion of the First Anniversary of Theresa’s death, we, her son Brendan and daughters, Aedeen and Deirdre offer our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who helped, supported, and sympathised with us on Theresa’s death. Thanks to those who called to the house and attended Theresa’s Funeral. We truly appreciate the cards and and condolences, To our wonderful friends, family and neighbours and all those who helped us in so many ways. We are touched by your kindness and continued support. Special thanks to Theresa’s grandsons, Rory and Ciarán and their partners Ciara and Pauline for their wonderful contribution to the funeral mass. We thank Bishop Brendan Leahy for celebrating the Funeral Mass and all in St. Thérèsa’s Church. We thank the team in The Carysfort Clinic, The Rise Pharmacy for their great care and to all those who cared for Mum. Finally thanks to Rom Massey’s funeral directors. Theresa was a truly wonderful mother, grandmother and friend whom we all dearly loved and who will always be in our hearts. We also remember those gone before, especially our father Con and our brother Conn RIP. They are all back together now. As it would not be possible to thank each person individually, we would like to ask that this acknowledgement be accepted as a small token of our appreciation and gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
