BROWNE Anthony D. (late of Kingston, Galway) - On August 15, 2020, the First Anniversary of Tony's death, his wife Treasa, daughters Deirdre and Anne-Marie, sons Paul, Eoin and Niall together with their families and the extended Browne family would like to express their sincere thanks to all those who supported and sympathized with them in their bereavment To our neighbours and all those who came to our home and attended Tony's funeral Mass and burial. We thank all those who sent Mass cards and letters. We greatly appreciate those who cared for him during his illness, his G.P., Dr. Brian O'Flynn. Professor Maccon Keane and the Oncology Daycare Team at the Galway Clinic, Mullins Pharmacy, and the support and care of Galway Hospice palliative/homecare team. His cousin Fr. Michael Browne together with concelebrants Fr. Kevin Keenan, Fr Jerry Jennings, and Fr. Tom McCarthy OP presided at Requiem Mass, a celebration of a life well lived. A special thank you to the rugby community for their presence and support - the IRFU, the Connacht Branch and to Corinthians Rugby club who provided a guard of honour to accompany Tony to his final resting place. Our grateful appreciation to O'Flaherty Funeral Directors who co-ordinated these days with kind consideration and professionalism. We trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our heartfelt gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
