NELSON George (Artane) died October 24, 2011 - George's wife Pauline, his children Deirdre and Paul, his sons-in-law Ian and Bernard, daughter-in-law Sharon and his grandchildren, together with his sisters and extended family, wish to thank sincerely all neighbours and friends who sympathised with us in our recent sad bereavement. Sincere gratitude to those who sent Mass cards, Spiritual Bouquets, letters of sympathy and floral tributes, and all our many friends who attended George's funeral Mass. A special word of thanks to Fr. Peter O'Connor who celebrated a very fitting funeral Mass, and to those who concelebrated with him. Fr Liam Murtagh, who also offered prayers at the Funeral Home, to Monsignor Alex Stenson, Monsignor John Dolan and to Frs. Hugh Daly and Peter McCarron. Thanks also to the choir for the beautiful singing and to Bill McMahon for his wonderful singing tribute to George. A special thanks to George's many friends from the Clontarf Golf Club, the Knights of Columbanus and his choirs. We would like to offer our sincere thanks also to the nursing and medical staff at Beaumont Hospital. As it would be impossible to reply individually to all the tributes to George, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
