MURPHY (née Swaine) Maureen Beatrice (Mo) (Killiney and formerly of Green Road, Blackrock, Co. Dublin) July 15, 2017. Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family,in the care of the doctors, nurses and staff at the Blackrock Hospice and Our Lady's Hospice, Harold's Cross, after a long illness bravely borne. Wife of the late Jim and loving mother of the late Linda (Reed) and baby Mary. Sadly missed by her children Wendy (Tobin), Elaine, Jean (Murray), Jamie and Anne (Ryan),her sister Anne (McCarthy), sons-in-law Pat Tobin, Frank Murray and Shane Ryan, her grandchildren Darry, Merlyn, Frank, Lucy, John and Louise, great-grandchildren Tyler and Phoenix, nieces, nephews, many relatives and friends. May she Rest in Peace. Reposing tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon from 4.00pm until 5.30pm in Carnegies Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown. Removal on Wednesday morning (July 19) to the Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel, Churchview Road, Johnstown, Killiney arriving at 9.50am for 10.00am Funeral Mass followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to Syringomyelia Ireland.

(July 15) On the First Anniversary of Mo's passing, Wendy, Elaine, Jean, Jamie and Anne would like to thank everyone who sympathised with us following the sad loss of our dear mum Mo and to those who attended her funeral and supported us over the past year with their love, kindness, help and prayers. A special word of thanks to the amazing carers at Careworld, Johnstown Medical Centre, Sallynoggin Health Centre and to the wonderful teams at the Blackrock and Harolds Cross Hospice for their kindness, care and respect shown at all times. For those who participated in the Mass at Johnstown Church and to Carnegie Funeral Directors for their sensitive and professional handling of arrangements To those who helped in any way, your contributions made our loss more bearable. Please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.The point of life is not to succeed,
