MURPHY, (Rochestown and formerly of Ballinahina, Co. Cork), May 18, 2018, (peacefully), in the loving care of the staff at Oaklodge Nursing Home, Cloyne and surrounded by his loving family, David Alphonsus dearly loved husband of Angela (née O’ Sullivan), beloved father of Oonagh, Paul, Tony and Helen, much loved grandad of Daniel, Ailis and Ralph, dear brother of Rose and the late Tadhg, Kathleen, Fr. Matthias O.F.M. Cap., and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, son-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, all his relatives and dear friends. Lying in repose at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh O’ Connor Ltd. Removal this (Monday) evening at 6.00pm to St. Mary’s Church, Passage West. Requiem Mass tomorrow (Tuesday) at 11.00am. Funeral afterwards to St. John’s Cemetery, Ballinrea. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, to the Mercy University Hospital, Cork.
