LIGNELL - Nils, (First Anniversary) of Nils's death (May 3, 2021) his partner Lisa (Liz), his children Tina and Bianca, grandchildren Aimée and Ange, brother Hans, sister-in-law, Maggie, wish to express sincere thanks to all who were a comfort and support, especially family, friends and neighbours. The attendance at the funeral service was restricted by Covid rules but many thanks to those who were able to be there and those who accompanied the cortege. Thanks to McCrea's Funeral Home, Wicklow and to Ciara who put together such a beautiful video of his journey also to those who were with us on-line, messages on RIP.ie, cards, letters, bouquets of flowers, gifts. To the Glenealy Tidy Towns Committee who formed a guard of honour and to the Glenealy Community; Delgany Golf Club (Management, Staff and Members) ; to the doctors, nurses and staff in St. Vincents Hospital; oncologist Dr Fiona Walsh and O'Dwyers pharmacy in Wicklow for their kindness and messages of sympathy and to Westmount Clinic. We were so blessed to see Nils in the wonderful care of Wicklow Hospice who looked after him in his final days.
