KEANE, Peter (Mountain West, Oranmore, Co. Galway) - September 4, 2011; beloved husband of Jacqueline, and much loved father of Gavin, Jacqueline, Peter, Edward and Maureen and son of Maureen and the late Eddie. Sadly missed by his wife, sons and daughters, his mother, sister Anne, brother Mattie, son-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, extended family and friends. Reposing at home tomorrow (Wednesday) from 5.00pm. to 7pm. Removal on Thursday to St. Columbanus Church within the grounds of N.U.I.G. in advance of Requiem Mass at 11am. Funeral after Mass to Renville cemetery, Oranmore. Family flowers only.'One of nature's true gentlemen'

<p>Pete Keane , may you rest in peace</p> <p>I will always remember my cousin Pete as the outwardly'steady' older cousin but with an impish smile behind dark rimmed glasses that suggested good humour and a love of life. His sudden passing seems so unbelievable. There were still roads to wander,oceans to cross, beers to share with friends.</p> <p>Jackie, Aunty Maureen, Anne, Mattie and family our heartfelt thoughts go out to you at this sad time.
