RONAN-MARTIN, Dr. Gertrude. On her First Anniversary, Gertie's husband Dr. Joe, and daughter Niamh, would like to thank most sincerely all those who attended the funeral, supported and sympathised with us on our sad loss over the past year. We especially thank the Martin and Ronan families, our friends and colleagues both here in Ireland and abroad, neighbours, and patients of both practices for their messages of sympathy and for also sharing their personal memories of Gertie. A very special thanks to her GP, Dr. Tim O'Flanagan and her Surgeon, Mr. Donal Maguire; the Harold's Cross Hospice Staff, and most especially Kaye Keeley and all her Homecare team whose wonderful care fulfilled Gertie's wish to remain at home; we deeply appreciate the constant care and loving attention given by Eileen, Louise, Caroline and Kathleen Treanor and Catherine Martin in Gertie's final days; to Fr Peter Briscoe of Milltown Parish for all of his support over the years and especially for his most uplifting funeral Mass; my own practice Partner Dr. Pauline King and all the staff in the Cambridge Clinic: Gertie's exceptional Secretary and friend Alex Donnelly, and Dr. Naomi Johnson from her Churchtown practice. We have received so many letters, Mass cards, phone calls and visits that it is not possible to thank everyone individually, so please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our appreciation, and Mass has been offered for your intentions.
