CONNOLLY, Mary Josephine (née O’Loughlin) Retired N.T., (late of “Kyle-na-nó”, Lower Limerick Road, Ennis, Co. Clare) Peacefully on the January 23, 2020 surrounded by her adoring family and in the expert care of the medical staff at University Hospital Limerick. Wife of her beloved late Sean (Ex Met Eireann) & late sister Bridin. Sadly missed by her sons, Ronan, Fergus, Cormac, Lorcan and Darren, daughter Muiríosa, daughters-in-law, Siobhán, Karen, Helen and Niamh, son-in-law Patrick, brothers Bernard, Kieran, Jimmy, sisters Frances, Roisín, sisters-in-law Triona, Monica, Kathleen, brother-in-law, Rob, her grandchildren, Adam, Síofra, Elliot, Ethan, Rachael, Thomas, Amelie, Ava, Mary, Kate and Sean, brothers-in-law, Michael and Ger and sister-in-law Berna and a wide circle of friends and colleagues. Reposing at her home at “Kyle-na-nó”, Lower Limerick Road, Ennis, (Eircode V95H9OW) tomorrow (Sunday) evening, from 4.00p.m. to 8.30p.m. Arriving for requiem Mass in celebration of her life on Monday, (January 27) at 11a.m. at Ennis Cathedral with burial afterwards in Drumcliffe Cemetery. On Mary’s First Anniversary today, Ronan, Fergus, Cormac, Lorcan, Darren and Muiríosa wish to thank all family, friends, neighbours and colleagues who comforted them upon Mary’s passing. Special thanks to Fr. Pat Malone, Fr. Harry Brady, Fr. Tom Ryan and all members of the clergy who concelebrated her Mass. To the Holy Family National School choir, the guest musicians and singers, readers and sacristan, a special thanks for so warmly celebrating Mary’s life. Thanks to Anne Romer for the stunning floral tributes. Thanks also to Mary’s former colleagues and friends in Holy Family, Ennis Flower & Garden Club, Ennis GC and Lahinch GC who attended and provided guards of honour. Thank you to undertaker Seán Daly, his team and the gravediggers for realising Mary’s wishes. Thank you to the Ennis Poor Clare Sisters, in particular Sr. Frances. Thanks also to Derek Halpin & John and Fatima Hughes for catering and to the Madden family for post requiem lunch. Thank you to the dedicated staff of Connolly O’Neill Solicitors; Veronica, Helena and Rebecca for their unwavering assistance to Mary. A special thanks to Prof. Tim Lynch, Prof. William Joyce, Dr. Margaret O’Connor, Dr. Tony Cox and Mary-Jo Duffy for their kindness. Thank you to Maggie Lynch and her colleagues for caring for Mary. Thanks in particular to Clarecastle Daycare Centre for augmenting Mary’s life and all who donated to the Centre. Special thanks to Sergeant Mark Murphy, Sergeant John Staunton and their Garda Síochana colleagues for their kind assistance, especially on Mary’s final journey.
