SWEENEY, Joe (Glasnevin) – January 7 2018, (peacefully) at Nazareth House Nursing Home, Malahide Road, beloved husband of the late Kathleen, much loved father of Phil, Declan, Finian, Kevin and the late Padraig and brother of the late Michael, Vincent, Bertie and Sr. Kathleen. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving sons, daughter, brothers Tom, Eamon and Gerald, his sister Marion, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Reposing at Nazareth House tomorrow (Wednesday) evening with family in attendance from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock. Removal on Thursday morning to St. Columba’s Church, Iona Road, Glasnevin arriving at 10.50 o’clock for 11 o’clock Requiem Mass. Funeral thereafter to St. Fintan’s Cemetery, Sutton.
