SCALLAN - Alice (Lally) The family of the late Lally Scallan of Clonard Park, Wexford, who died May 28, 2020 wish to express their most sincere thanks to all who sympathised with them on the sad loss of a beloved sister, sister-in-law and aunt, to those who sent cards, messages, flowers, posted condolences on RIP.ie and especially for your kind words and prayers. We gratefully acknowledge the many messages of condolences from those who could not be present due to Covid-19 restrictions, particularly absent family members, friends and past colleagues from Celtic Linen, Carlow & Wexford. We are truly grateful to all who gathered outside the church and along the streets or participated in the funeral Mass by webcam. We most especially thank Mgr. Denis Lennon for celebrating a beautiful, thanksgiving funeral Mass and to Fr. Barry Larkin for the Anniversary Mass. Most heartfelt gratitude to all who cared for Lally, especially Dr. Ravi Kumar with nurses and staff of Clonard Surgery, Dr. Brian Hennessy, UMPC Whitfield, Waterford, her carers and Grants Pharmacy. To her neighbour Rita and Nurse Aoife Murray, we owe huge gratitude for tending to Lally on 24th May 24, 2020 and also thanks to Dr. Sean Fennessy, the medical, nursing and caring team of Medical Ward 3, University Hospital Waterford for attentive, compassionate care during Lally’s final days. Our thanks to Mackens Funeral Directors for their compassionate and professional support. The Holy Sacrifice of Mass will be offered for your intentions.
