MacCARTHY O'HEA, Thomas (Tom), (Knocknacarra, Galway) - March 28, 2018, (peacefully) after a brief illness, beloved husband of Eilish (née McCoy) and much loved father of John, Justin, Edwin and Thomas. He will be sadly missed by his wife and family, brother Fergus (London), sisters Gladys and Grace (Australia), grandchildren Muirenn, Paul, Catherine and Dylan, daughters-in-law Alissa and Alessandra, nieces, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at the O'Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway on Easter Monday, April 2, from 3.00 pm with removal at 6.00 pm to St. Mary's Church, Claddagh. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, April 3, at 12 noon. Committal Service at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork on Wednesday, April 4, at 4.00 pm. Family flowers only. Sympathies to his Eilish and his family. We worked for him in the 1980s in the Ardilaun. Both Tom and Eilish were very good to us. Joe and Maria Gibbons, Cong.
