TARPEY - Canon Richard (Bekan, Co. Mayo) February 28, 2021, peacefully in the gentle and loving care of the staff of Friars Lodge Nursing Home,

Ballinrobe. Retired Parish Priest Ennistymon, Co. Clare and Lettermore, Connemara and former teacher Coláiste Éinde, Galway. Predeceased by his brother Seamus and sister Margaret (Spelman). Sadly missed by his sisters Mary, Pauline, Eithne, Muriel and Madeline, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and his brothers in the priesthood who supported his pastoral ministry in the Diocese of Galway for 55 years. Sincere thanks to

his kind carers and friends Kathleen, Mary and Rita. In accordance with Government guidelines a private requiem Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Our Lady & St. Michael, Ennistymon, Co. Clare today (Tuesday) at 12.00 noon followed by burial in the Church grounds. The funeral Mass will be streamed live on the Ennistymon Parish, Clare facebook page.
