BURNS, Eithne (Patrick Street, Mountmellick, Co. Laois, Retired Postmistress, Mountmellick Post Office) - Died April 20th, 2024, at Midlands Regional Hospital, Portlaoise, much loved aunt and sister of the late Joan, Iris, Florence, Hilda, Sam and Ann. She will be greatly missed by all her nieces, nephews, friends, neighbours and all at Oakdale Nursing Home who cared for her so well in recent years. Reposing at Moloney’s Funeral Home, Mountmellick from 11.45am Wednesday, 24th April, followed by removal to Mountmellick Methodist Church for funeral service at 1pm. Burial afterwards in St. Paul's Church Graveyard. The cortège will assemble at The old Post Office at 12.50pm on route to the Church. Family flowers only.
