I know we had lost touch but I nevertheless I was heartbroken to hear of Bobbi's death. Please accept my sincere condolences for the whole family on what can only be a very sad time.

RIP Roberta Bobbie Connolly I first met Bobbie in 2008 when she offered to support my 'Social Responsibility' Workshops delivered to first year students from around the Dún Laoghaire area. Bobbie was a passionate advocate for road safety, encouraging others not to make the mistakes she'd made, but she was also an extremely positive person who despite her significant challenges, rose above them and was never more delighted to share and inspire others with her passion to live life to the full. I often got calls from Bonnie asking me if she could do more workshops on road safety, she simply wanted to meet people, share her story, highlight the dangers of not paying attention near roads, but more importantly to inspire youngsters that whatever hand life deals you, you can rise above it all. I'll miss you Bobbie, you had a massive and positive impact on so many young lives and I know you won't ever be forgotten by those who had the pleasure of your company.
