O'DOWD Ferdia - April 19, 2012 (late of the Sunday Business Post) (peacefully) in the loving care of St. Francis' Hospice Raheny. Very deeply regretted by his loving children Aisling, Orlagh and Ronan, his ex-wife Mary, grandchildren, sisters and his wider family, relatives and friends. His children wish to express their deep appreciation of the care and support of Ulick and Peter during their dad's illness. Funeral Service on Monday, April 23 at 2pm in Glasnevin Crematorium Chapel. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Irish Motor Neuron Disease Association and St. Francis' Hospice, Raheny.

I Remember Ferdia well as one of his Classmates at Blackrock College. More specifically I remember him standing up to a Bully in the the School and demolishing him Verbally and eloquently. Ciaran Kealy. Ontario Canada.
