Dear Helen, This has been a difficult winter for you, what with your mother’s passing away so recently and now losing David so soon afterwards. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. I hope this is some comfort to you coming as it does from an old friend. Old friends are best at times like this. Love, Peter.

Peter Thompson, Arklow.

David and I were good friends at Trinity College Dublin in the 60s. I am so sorry his sad death denies him what should have been a wonderful future with his family.
